Dr. Mae Jemison is a physician, engineer, educator and entrepreneur, was the first woman of color in the world to go into space aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour and was a NASA astronaut for six years. She runs the 100 Year Starship initiative, which is preparing us for "An Inclusive, Audacious, Journey [That] Transforms Life Here on Earth & Beyond."

Also joining us will be Tim Russ (Commander Tuvok “Star Trek: Voyager”), Patricia Tallman (Lyta Alexander from “Babylon 5”), Dean Haglund (one of the Lone Gunman from “The X-Files”), Brian Brophy (Commander Maddox, "Star Trek: Next Generation") and JPL's Mohawk Guy, Bobak Ferdowsi. We will also be premiering the latest version of Miguel Angel Argon Calvo's dive through 200,000 galaxies as we 'fly' out from Earth to the farthest reaches of the Universe exploring one small patch of sky from the COSMOS astronomical survey. (I saw it at LACMA and was stunned by it) as well as the Dalek robot from Dr. Who and the R2-D2 unit from 'Artoo in Love'. We have something for everyone!

This year we will again host the Yuri's Night Ambassadors in their dashing blue sashes! Please go up to them throughout the night and ask your favorite space questions!
